Wow!!!

Hi guys. It's been a ong time since I updated here. Things have been hectic for the past few months, as there were 2 weddings in my family, of which I had to be a major part of, but that's all over now.

All my relatives are finally gone and I have some space and time to be updating and doing some other stuff. LOL, yeah life does seem to get away when you're not paying attention.

Anyway, I've been playing around with Photoshop lately (late bloomer) and managed to come up with 2 pics that I think are okay for now. Hopefully I get better at it. LOL

I went to watch Ice Age 3 and Harry Potter and I have to say while Ice Age 3 was really good, I felt the we were shortchanged with the HP movie. I mean there was a whole lot in the book that made the entire plot what it was and for them not showing it in the movie, I feel that people were left confused. The movie was called the Half Blood Prince for a damn reason and the one line in the movie to show who it was just didn't do it justice. But what is done is already done, I just hope the next two installments are better done.

Okay, so I decided to actually read 100 books this year.
Yes I know it sounds like an impossible feat, but hell one can hope can't they?
I read almost everything I can lay my hands on... the only thing I keep away from is the sappy inane love stories.
I like most genres and am open to trying new things too.

Well I've got that feeling now and I think it's going to last for a while. My aunt is here for the month, she just arrived today and she's only leaving at the start of Jan 09. Seriously it's annoying cause she can't keep her nose out of my business and she tries to fix things that aren't broken.

It's going to be a really long month....

Okay so today I get up and switch on the TV, obviously after I brush my teeth and have breaskfast, thinking it's going to be another non eventful day... boy was I wrong

I channel hop until something catches my interest, and it was not a pretty sight. Terrorsit attacks have taken place in India, with them bombing tourist attractions for apparently no reason and from my perspective targeting foreigners. I mean seriously, what does killing innocent people who are minding thier own business give them?

A sense of power?
The feeling that they are above everyone else?
The misguided notion that God is actually going to praise them for carrying out the actions that they did?

Please man... get serious.

Ok i have no idea of it's just me or do many people feel like this.

Yesterday I had an outing with friends and it just so happened that one of my friends has aquired a new girlfriend. Now I dont have a problme with tha. What I do have a problem with was the way she clung to him.

I swear if he went to the toilet she followed him. She didn't leave him alone for one second. Now I do realise that when in a relationship, people tend to hang out together, but this was practically insane man. Then she does the whole public display of affection thing in my face. Boy was I disgusted... Seriously they should have got a room, or just not come.

They should have rules about clingy partners...
Can't they be more fucking independant? I mean you don't need a man to help you pee do you?

Do things like this bother other people too or is it just me?
I still feel like an old school person, where you like to keep others guessing about whether you're in a serious relationship or not...

Maybe its just my overworked brain.

I thought it's about time I updated my journal, but and I was going to add a new NCIS fan fic but either I freaking forgot how to do an LJ cut or it's just not working...

So I'm about to pull my hair out.
